Message from President

The Department of Theatre is more than an academic space—it is a shared journey of learning, discipline, creativity, and collective growth. Every student who has passed through this department, and every student who is currently shaping their path here, carries forward a tradition built on artistic integrity and social responsibility.

The Theatre Alumni Association was formed with the belief that the relationship between former and current students should remain strong, meaningful, and supportive. Our alumni are not only witnesses to the department’s history but also active contributors to its future.

As an association, we are committed to standing beside our current students by offering mentorship, guidance, and professional support. Through workshops, discussions, training sessions, research collaboration, and performance-based initiatives, we aim to create opportunities that help students grow both academically and practically. We also seek to support young theatre practitioners as they transition from the classroom to the professional world.

At the same time, this platform brings together ex-students from different generations—allowing us to reconnect, share experiences, and work collectively for the artistic and institutional development of the department. By strengthening unity among alumni, we hope to create a sustainable network based on cooperation, respect, and shared responsibility.

The strength of a theatre department lies not only in its curriculum, but in the solidarity between its students—past and present. Together, we can nurture new voices, preserve our values, and continue contributing to theatre as a vital cultural and intellectual practice.
